I have a hard time going out to order a steak it's never ever cooked the exact way I want I enjoyed the Porterhouse steak it was cooked exactly how I wanted and the taste was magnificent and tender! The side salad was a nice size salad! Not at all disappointed! Y'all get there and get u a porterhouse steak!

The food is excellent. The service has always been great! It's is noisy though.. but no matter where you go anymore it seems like you can't have a quiet, relaxing meal..

Food was good, the new shrimp appetizer (see attached) was excellent, the salmon and grilled shrimp main course (see attached) was great. The 12oz Ribeye was so so (thin/fatty). Ambiance was good and the restaurant seemed very clean. Brianna is the best waitress we've had in a long time - superb service. We would provide an overall rating of 4.7 but can only do whole numbers.

My 1st time in an upper-middle class Steakhouse. It didn't disappoint, the service was great, very friendly, knowledgeable, and they checked on you a lot, but not to the point it was annoying. The Texas feel was very nice. Felt like we were in the mid west. The food: The starting bread was ok. A bit hard but tasted good. The steaks were phenomenal! Absolutely perfect on the cooking. Seasoning was just right. For the first time: 10/10

It's hard to beat this place, we have been here lots of times and the food is always great steaks are fantastic service is great and the prices are very reasonable

Located in a beautifully designed building next to the Valley View Mall, LongHorn Steakhouse seems to reach out, extending an invitation to all those who drive by on the way to the Mall. And always I would see people parking and walking in and out of the place. So one day, I decided it was time for me to answer their call and walk in to try it out. After all, steak is my favorite food, just as ice cream is my favorite dessert. As I walked to the place, I admired the outside structure of the building and looked forward to seeing the inside. After entering the building, I was impressed with the beautifully designed inside and well use of space with the placement of the tables, chairs, and booths. I had made a reservation through their app, so when I arrived I let the host, who welcomed me with a smile at the host table, know of this reservation. She quickly walked me to a table at the end of the restaurant, which gave me a perfect view of the entire place. It didn't take long for my waitress to arrive with the menu. To drink, I just ordered a glass of ice water. And to eat, I ordered a Caesar Salad to start with and the 9oz Flo's Filet cooked medium rare with a side of a fully loaded Idaho Baked Potato. The waitress asked me for what other side, neglecting to inform me that the salad counted as the other side, so I ordered asparagus as another side, and was charged for it extra at the end of the meal. The friendly waitress quickly brought me the ice water, which by the way, had a wonderful taste. I can always judge a good restaurant by the quality of their water and their bread and butter. She also at this time brought me the Caesar Salad and my silverware wrapped around with a dark cloth napkin. And then walked away. When I opened the napkin, I noticed that steak knife had a soap stain all over, resulting from not having been rinsed and dried properly. This was my first disappointment of the place. I've eaten in quality restaurants where the waitresses spend time polishing the silverware with a clean cloth as they wait for their customers to arrive; so that they see nice, clean and shiny silverware. So I had to ask someone I saw walking around if he could bring me another steak knife because this one had not been totally cleaned. The bun and butter looked good but the bun seemed to have been reheated and because of this was not as soft as it was meant to be, to eat with the soft butter served. The Caesar Salad tasted delicious. When the main meal arrived to the table I had to tell the waitress to remove the salad dish for her to do so, and so she could place the plate with the Filet, loaded backed Potato, and another plate with the asparagus on the table. The Filet was amazing. It was the right size and cooked medium rare as requested and seasoned just right. I didn't have to use the Worcestershire sauce I had asked for because the steak was so juicy and tasty that I enjoyed eating it just with its natural juices. My compliments to the Chef for such a wonderfully cooked tender cut of meat. The loaded baked potato and asparagus were also a good size portion and very nicely cooked. When I was finished the waitress came to remove my plate and was going to get my bill without asking if I wanted dessert. I had to ask her for the dessert menu. I was interested in a dessert called Chocolate Stampede with 6 kinds of chocolate and asked her what were the 6 chocolates? She didn't seem to know nor was able to answer the question. She also didn't warn me of the size of this dessert. I ordered it anyways and it looked and tastes delicious, but it was too big just for me, so I took half with me in a doggie bag. And lastly the waitress took too long to bring me my bill. I had to ask her twice. Because the wonderful ambiance of the place and the amazing quality of the food, I highly recommend this restaurant to all steak lovers among those reading this review; and exhort the management of the restaurant to follow-up with the deficiency items that I brought up as constructive feedback. If they do, and if they make an effort to stop by the tables of their customers, especially new customers, to greet them and say hi, this restaurant can well deserve a 5 Star rating. And after completing my guest survey, I'm definitely sure that Corporate will agree with me. And as for me, I will return to see the difference and to experience a wonderful dining experience with amazing food and service.

My recent visit to this Roanoke, VA, location was most enjoyable! Not only is the ambiance inviting, but the service was outstanding. The food, of course, is always cooked to one's liking and is delicious. The manager, in particular, stands out as an excellent role model for his staff as he was busy serving, cleaning tables and floors, and generally showing concern for his customers. Hats off to this steak restaurant--one of Roanoke's BEST!
